Lover of nature and creator of beauty
I am a California Bay Area, punk rock, ocean-loving nature woman who speaks directly & emotionally from my heart and living in the frozen Midwest. I have found wonderful ways to express the beauty of this new home in my paintings and the love I hold from the life I once had. I grew up close to the Pacific Ocean and running around in the dirt of the forest floor. The salty ocean air is now replaced with splashes of lake water, while hikes in Ash & Oaks have replaced the walks among the ancient Redwood giants. I have found the beauty here and it has found its place in my heart & in my paintings. My work is still heavily influenced by the ocean and the botanicals of my youth. I have lived in the Midwest for over 15 years with new adventures every day. I have been creating since I was young, and taking it seriously for the last 25 years. Growing up in California exposed me to a wide range of cultures and I was constantly surrounded by all different wonders of nature, from the depths of the Pacific Ocean to the towering Redwood trees. Traversing within the urban environment of San Francisco to San Jose and all over the Bay Area, exposed me to the art of graffiti as well. These early experiences help influence my body of work and propel my art into further realms.
